Sorry I don't really understand?

Initially was 7:5 then eventually became 3:4. LCM of "5" & "4" is 20. Thus, 7:5 can be drawn as 28:20 3:4 can be drawn as 15:20 Hence 28 - 15 = 13u = 26. Therefore u = 2

Answer is correct but I am not sure if I understand the model. He had boys initially at 100%+24. A 10% reduction shd result in 90% +21.6. But the model show 90% instead.

Aiyah...don't understand the answer. .why do we start off by saying that there are 2u in may?

Yeo See Yeong

Question mentioned that unit sold increase by half. So a 2u in May will result in 3u in June. Alternatively, you can use 1u in May but units sold will become 1.5u in June.

To increase the average marks (marks per student) by 3 (i.e. 46-43), we need to increase the total marks by 12 (i.e. 4+8). Hence, no. of students = 12รท3 = 4
