Since the base of the two triangles are equal and their heights add up to 15 cm, the total area of the two triangles = 1/2*7*15.

This should be 7×15×1/2

Aiyah.. make myself so worried before my sleep..u seriously don't understand. I cannot get 1u= 11

Soo Vei Li

Gek Poh, in the 'after' model, you can see that the 3 units (green) = 33, so 1 unit = 33/3 = 11.

Where does the 18 come from madam?

Gek Poh

Why you me 72 into 3 parts?

Soo Vei Li

72 is divided by 4 so that i can represent 3-quarters being sold. 72/4 = 18. 3-quarters of mangoes sold means 3-quarters of the units as well as 3-quarters of 72 being sold.

Gek Poh

So for such questions. . When they say 72 more ..I need to also work on it given that 3 quarters sold. I work till the part where 72+15= 3 units. That's why cannot get 1u=11
