Q1. Lily has twice as many beads as Candy a) how many beads must Lily give Candy so that each girl has 72 beads? b) how many beads did Lily have at first? Pls help to solve.. Thks

Each girl 72 beads, means there is 144 beads in total.
Initially, Candy has 144/3 = 48 beads. So Lily must give Cindy 72-48=24 beads.
Lily will have 72+24=96 beads at first.
