After deducting the cost of extra buns($6.80) you will get the amount paid for equal no of buns and cakes... $24.80 minus $6.80= ??? That ??? is the total cost of equal no of buns and cakes.. One bun + 1 cake= $0.90 Divide the ??? by 0.9 you will get the answer.

would say this is a poorly set Question.... but doining what the question wants.... Fourth person: half a donut + half of remaining --> 0 left. Hence, infering from this, before the fourth person ate, there were only: 0.5 ×2 = 1 donut So before third person ate, there were (1+0.5)×2=3donuts. Continuing this.... Donuts left before second person ate =(3+0.5)×2 = 7 Donuts left before first person ate =(7+0.5)×2 = 15 So answer is.... 15?

Today we will discuss a question that doesn't involve any particular topic but instead requires students to practice the skill of logical thinking and elimination in order to arrive at the answer. Such questions can take many forms and can be as basic as the one we have today, or, far more complex than the one we have today. Here's the question.I am a 4 digit number. All my digits are different. My first digit is 1/6 of my last. My second digit is 1/4 of my third digit. What number am I?
