P5 maths... pl share a solution : Helen had some stamps. If she gave each friend 20 stamps, she needed another 35 stamps. If she had given each friend 40 stamps, she would need another 355 stamps. [a] How many friends did she share her stamps with? [b] How many stamps did she have?

(a) (355-35)/(40-20)=16 (b) (16x20)-35=285

25.2 is 4 units. So one unit is 6.3

why 28.3-3.1=25.2 is 4 unit?

In fact, it is (28.3+added water) which is 5 units, minus (3.1+added water) which is 1 unit.
