Is there a typo error -- 3/5 of the male guests?

You can start by drawing 2 separate bars -- the 3 units to represent the males and then the 2 units to represent the females, making those bars equal (since 3 units of the males = 2 units of the females). Then, how many more units to make the whole for the males and how many more units to make the whole for the females? How many units altogether now? These units will represent the 620 guests.

Or x + x + 2x = 180 x = 45

Harshisri Murugan, some feedback to help you: using the info given about parallel lines, we can conclude that the base angle (left one) of the triangle is also x (alternate angles). And because two sides of the triangle are the radii of the circle and therefore equal, the other base angle of the triangle is also x. We can't assume that the triangle is equilateral as you have done at the start. It is an isosceles triangle because of the radius. That's why x+x+2x=180.

Harshisri Murugan, for such questions, it is useful to add to notation for parallel lines onto the diagram and then use the properties of parallel lines and the angles given to see what other angles can also be known. With parallel lines, learn to visualise the 'z', the 'f' shapes, etc for alternate angles and corresponding angles.
