Hi Kim Soon Chin may I ask why u use (*5/2) in a the equation? Actually, I still dun understand the solution. Wild u be so kind as to explain it again to me? Thks in adv. 🙏

Initially ratio is 2:3. Later the ratio change to 5:8, after 40 boys added. (*5/2) is to make 2 become 5, so that we can directly equate the boys portion. 15/2 units plus the added 40 boys will become 8 units, meaning half unit is 40. One unit is 40x2=80. 8 units is 8x80=640.
