Im being stupid How did you get $198?

BA Poh Ann

342 - 144 = 198

Paul Booth

Of course. Sorry LOL

BA Poh Ann

Since Daniel had $144 more than Ryan at first, you would just need another $198 to make $342 which to be transferred to Ryan.

Paul Booth

Thanks. Just got it. :)

Well, I thought I did. I can see how Daniel gave $144 and$198 , a total of $342. so now Ryan has his original amount , $144 and $198 ie $342. So how do you get the right hand $342 bar?

BA Poh Ann

Ryan's original = 1 unit + 198 342 was transferred from Daniel to Ryan. ** See the model drawing - difference between Step 2 and Step 3. :)
