When you move the 12 over to the upper deck, the child must also consider cutting the portion just below it. That is why you must subtract 12 twice.

This concept involves internal transfer involving whole numbers. Many average-performing P5s are still struggling with this actually. If your child can get it at P3, he or she actually knows more than many others in the cohort. ;)

Nowadays parents gotta learn first before able to teach our kids. I'm trying to learn too... I try to copy those tough questions and see how you guys solve then I gv it to my gir. Is so different fm what I had learned.
