Hi TB, happened to see this. The percentage discount is 100% - $320/$400 which is 20% discount. To counter check, can use the 20% in original prices ($2400 becomes $1920, $2000 becomes $1600).

Tks PY. Why 320 /400?

The difference in the original prices is $400. After discount, the differences in the prices is $320. The percentage discount applies to both the prices of the laptop as well as the difference in the laptop prices between the shops as this is proportional. So you can use 320/400 to know the percentage discount. It is like using PF ratio. You can predict the patient's PaO2 at another FiO2 if you know the PF ratio.

For 3rd Question, $2 : $5 2/3 : 4/7 4/6 : 4/7 $2 has 6u $5 has 7u Their difference is 1u 10 of $5 can change 25 of $2, So, u-10 = 25 u = 35 Total money = 6ux2+7ux5 =47x35 = $1645
