Number of P shoes is x; Number of Q shoes is y;
x+y = 25 ------- eq. 1;
x×18+y×30 = 819/1.5------ eq.2;
Substitute x = 25-y into eq.2
(25-y)18+30y =819/1.5;
25(18)+12y = 819/1.5;
12y = 819(2/3)-450;
y=96/12;
y=8; x=25-8=17;
Total Cost price of P shoes = 17x18=RM 306;
Total Cost price of Q shoes = 8x30=RM 240.
